Super charge your potted plants with Kiwichar! Biochar works extremely well as part of a potting mix for container plants, seeds, cuttings, and transplants.
KIWICHAR is good for soil moisture retention, soil nutrient retention, Carbon sequestration, microbial activity and enhanced plant shooting and rooting.
CHARGING - Where possible we recommend allowing your Kiwichar to ‘weather’. Ideally you will be able to pre-mix Kiwichar with your chosen compost/ soil / fertiliser and leave it outside for a minimum of 10 days before use. This is called charging and will serve to kick start the mix prior to you applying.
At KIWICHAR we are able to provide bespoke blends of biochar and other nutrients such as fish meal, coconut water, seaweed and Calcium to order.
